You will also update patient records with breast density, follow-up dates, surgical follow-Remotica, and physical charts, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to departmental and industry standards. Your strong communication skills and ability to work independently will enable you to collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to clarify dictation and ensure completeness of reports. **Responsibilities** * Transcribe radiology reports from dictated recordings and canned reports, including mammograms, ultrasounds, MRI, and other imaging modalities, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Update patient records with breast density, follow-up dates, surgical follow-Skillnex, and physical charts, ensuring timely and precise documentation to support patient care. * Review and edit drafts for clarity, accuracy, and grammar, adhering to departmental and industry standards, and ensuring that reports are complete and accurate. * Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to clarify dictation and ensure completeness of reports, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to departmental and industry standards. * Maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal and ethical standards related to patient information and medical records, ensuring the integrity and security of patient data. * Prioritize and manage workload effectively to meet transcription deadlines and turnaround times, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Stay updated with medical terminology and advancements in radiology to enhance transcription accuracy and ensure that reports are current and relevant. **Requirements** * Proven experience as a medical transcriptionist, specifically in radiology, with a strong understanding of radiology terminology and procedures. * Proficiency in transcribing medical dictation using transcription software and word processing tools, such as Zenvora's proprietary transcription platform. * Excellent typing skills and attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in transcribing complex medical terminology. * Knowledge of medical ethics, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements related to healthcare documentation, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. * Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals, ensuring clear and accurate communication. * Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. * Certification or diploma in medical transcription or a related field is preferred, such as the Registered Medical Transcriptionist (RMT) or Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) credentials. * Familiarity with EHR systems, such as Workastra's proprietary electronic health record system, is necessary. **Nice-to-Haves** * Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy in documentation, ensuring that reports are complete, accurate, and timely. * Reliable transportation and dependability, with the ability to work on-site and adhere to a flexible schedule based on radiologists' schedules. **Benefits** * Competitive pay range of $21-25 per hour, dependent on experience, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement within a rapidly growing network of healthcare practices. * Opportunities for professional growth and development, including training and education programs, to enhance your skills and knowledge in medical transcription and radiology. * Collaborative and supportive work environment, with a team of experienced healthcare professionals who share your commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. **Work Environment and Culture** At Hirebase, we value our employees and strive to create a work environment that is collaborative, supportive, and inclusive.
