About the Role We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our remote team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for performing preventive maintenance tasks, minor mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting on material-handling and other Dispersion Community (DC) equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs on material-handling and other DC equipment. Utilize the Modernized Support Board Framework (CMMS) to create and manage preventive maintenance worksheets, ensuring compliance with manufacturer recommendations and best practices. Collaborate with Expert Maintenance Professionals to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on advanced mechanical equipment. Maintain a safe working environment by reporting and addressing potential safety hazards related to material-handling equipment or distribution center facilities. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: A partner's certificate in Modern or Maintenance Technology AND at least 2 years of maintenance experience in an office, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment, OR 4 years of maintenance experience in an office, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of modern power systems, including single-phase and three-phase power, engines, safety devices, and photo sensors. At least 6 months of experience with Programmable Logic Regulator (PLC) programming standards. At least 6 months of experience transferring and downloading Programmable Logic Regulators (PLCs), System Control Programming (SCSs), and scanners. At least 6 months of experience with devices such as photo sensors, Programmable Logic Regulators (PLCs), remote Info/Result modules (I/operating system), servo drives, and variable frequency drives. Ability to work at heights up to 100 feet, lift parts and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds, and perform tasks that involve prolonged bending, squatting, stooping, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking.
