What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our hotel property and grounds. Your diverse skillset and experience will be instrumental in driving success in our maintenance operations. Here are the key responsibilities you can expect: Maintain safe and smooth-running physical hotel property and grounds, ensuring a pleasant experience for our guests. Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on various systems, including plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and HVAC. Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl, and drywall repair to maintain the hotel's facilities. Implement and monitor programs to ensure a safe facility and work environment, complying with all relevant regulations. Keep detailed records and reports on maintenance activities. Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members, contributing to their growth and development. Collaborate with management to identify departmental needs and assist in the recruitment process. Contribute to an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous and friendly guest service. What We Expect of You: Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Maintenance Technician II at Drury Hotels, you'll need to possess a unique blend of technical knowledge, skills, and personal qualities. Here are the essential qualifications and skills we're looking for: Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills, with the ability to handle all aspects of hotel maintenance. Experience in completing partial or full dismantling of equipment to repair or replace defective components. Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and mechanical operations for pool maintenance. Experience in implementing and monitoring preventative maintenance programs. Knowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical repair and plumbing. Ability to speak, write, and receive direction in English. Troubleshooting and repair skills using appropriate testing methods. Flexibility to be available for emergency repairs. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a hotel maintenance environment, HVAC certification, and plumbing experience are highly desirable.
