About the Role
As a Local CDL A Freight Specialist, you'll be responsible for driving success by delivering freight to our stores and distribution centers across the United States. This is a 100% remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
Operate a tractor-trailer in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
Deliver freight to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Maintain accurate records and logs, including driver logs and vehicle inspection reports.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
A valid Class A CDL.
At least 1 year of previous tractor-trailer driving experience.
A minimum age of 21 years.
A strong safety record and commitment to safe driving practices.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
Experience with regional home weekly routes.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
