About the Role: Lead Data Scientist - Retail Strategic Health Analytics We're seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our Retail Strategic Health Analytics team on a part-time remote basis. As a Lead Data Scientist, you'll collaborate with business partners to develop and implement analytics strategies that drive business priorities. You'll lead a team of analysts and data scientists to build end-to-end analytical products, leveraging advanced statistical techniques, machine learning, and predictive modeling to inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business partners to shape the analytics strategy and address business priorities through predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and metric analysis. Own and manage an analytics workstream, leading a team of analysts and data scientists to build end-to-end analytical products. Utilize strong knowledge of algorithms and predictive models to recommend approaches, test hypotheses, detect patterns, and propose solutions. Perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve complex business problems using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses. Develop and participate in presentations and consultations to present analytics results and solutions to various stakeholders. Leverage strong programming capabilities to explore, examine, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms. Essential Qualifications 3+ years of applicable analytic experience in a related field. Experience programming using R or Python. Experience with SQL. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Data, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners effectively. Proactive approach to anticipating and preventing issues and roadblocks. Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze large datasets from multiple data sources. Demonstrated skill proficiency in most areas of mathematical analysis techniques, machine learning, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling. Master's degree or PhD preferred.
