As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the department, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and implementing effective solutions to drive business growth. With a strong background in IT and a proven track record of success, you will be the driving force behind our technological advancements. About the Role As an IT Site Director at blithequark, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring seamless execution of technical projects, and providing top-notch support to our employees and stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving complex application, hardware, and network issues, as well as documenting, analyzing, and resolving elevated help desk tickets. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day activities of the IT department, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Troubleshoot complex technical issues, including application, hardware, and network problems. Document, analyze, and resolve elevated help desk tickets in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with local and remote IT Site Support Specialists, employees, and operations management to provide top-notch solutions to IT issues. Align IT strategy and roadmap with the Satisfaction Community's requirements, working closely with the local Operations team. Perform network engineering and troubleshooting, project management, and leadership of local IT Support specialists. Manage data cabling and systems administration in various software and hardware environments. Work with business leaders to identify, recommend, develop, and implement cost-effective technology solutions to support our rapid growth. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science or IT-related field. 4 years of experience providing technical support in a Satisfaction Community environment. MS certifications like MCSE, MCSA, or MCITP. Broad knowledge of Motorola/Zebra RF Units, including Moto MC9190, VC6090, and WT41N0. Expertise in areas of IT, such as Microsoft Organization, Mobile Device Management, and RF Technologies. Advanced troubleshooting skills in a multi-user, high-pressure environment. Broad knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Data Cabling/PC Facilities maintenance. Proven success in leading IT Support teams. Demonstrated skills in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and decommissioning. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, both face-to-face and through phone/radio. Experience managing vendor contracts, relationships, and service outages. Cisco CCNA certification. Working knowledge of SOTI MobiControl device management.
