Key Responsibilities Tutor identified students in a homebound setting, developing skills and strategies to facilitate proficient performance in essential standards. Facilitate instruction and conduct regular progress checks to monitor student understanding and adjust teaching approaches as needed. Establish and maintain a positive rapport with students, protecting their right to confidentiality and creating a safe and supportive learning environment. Collaborate with school administration and staff to support students' individual needs and develop effective tutoring strategies. Prepare instructional aids and plans, leveraging knowledge of district goals, objectives, policies, and procedures. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, both orally and in writing, to ensure seamless coordination and support. Manage the tutoring environment to promote a conducive and productive learning atmosphere. Essential Qualifications and Skills To excel as a Homebound Tutor with Catalina Foothills School District, you will need: Minimum Required Qualifications A valid teaching certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Education. Knowledge of computers and proficiency in the district's current word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Understanding of district goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and regulations.
