This is a remote-based position that requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. As a Health Fitness Professional, you'll make a direct impact on the health and well-being of our members through the coordination, implementation, and/or delivery of health and fitness improvement programs and services. **Key Responsibilities** * Coordinate, implement, and/or deliver health and fitness improvement programs and services, including fitness center promotions and outreach activities * Provide individual and group exercise instruction, monitoring fitness facility and conducting fitness testing and assessments * Advise participants of the results and design individualized programs to meet their interests, abilities, and goals * Other duties as-needed/assigned **Schedule** * Substitute schedule will consist of 5-hour or 8-hour shifts * A combination of morning and/or afternoon shifts (5:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) **Requirements** * Associate's degree in a related field (Kinesiology, Exercise Science, etc.) or the equivalent combination of education, industry experience, and current certification(s) from a HealthFitness approved provider * Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required * Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in a related field * Experience working in a fitness setting, preferably in a group exercise instruction or personal training capacity * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Skills and Competencies** * Strong knowledge of exercise science and fitness principles * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** * Opportunities for professional growth and development through training and education programs * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Competitive pay and benefits package * Flexible employment opportunities **Work Environment and Company Culture** * Remote-based position with occasional on-site work required * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Competitive pay and benefits package **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits** * Competitive salary reflecting your skills and experience * Variety of health and financial benefits * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Flexible employment opportunities **How to Apply** If this role sounds like a perfect fit, don't hesitate.
