Job Summary We are looking for a highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Residential Multi-State Title Reader with a positive attitude to join our team. As a Residential Multi-State Title Reader, you will be responsible for reading, reviewing, and analyzing abstracts to determine vesting information and identifying any liens, judgments, and encumbrances affecting title to the property. You will also review documents, examine covenants and restrictions, and plot metes and bounds descriptions. If you have a strong background in title insurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities Read, review, and analyze abstracts to determine vesting information and identify any liens, judgments, and encumbrances affecting title to the property. Review documents such as contracts, deeds, mortgages, subordinations, probate, trust, organizational documents, easements, covenants and restrictions, divorce decrees, court records, and other necessary documents to clear title. Examine covenants and restrictions and municipal searches to determine if they affect title and property use. Plot metes and bounds descriptions and have knowledge of surveys. Complete curative requests for previous chain of title issues. Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients through written and verbal communication. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Requirements Essential Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a Residential Multi-State Title Reader. Strong knowledge of title insurance and experience working with abstract and title documents. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented and professional with the ability to handle confidential information. High level of accountability and customer service skills. Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SoftPro Select. Knowledge of title insurance software and technology. Experience working in a remote environment.
