Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to work on a contract basis as a Software Engineer 3, Applications/Software Development for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing enhancements and providing support for the Texas HHS Legislative Tracking System (LTS) 2.0 Power Platform application. Key Responsibilities Design and develop Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps using Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model Develop Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, and business process Flows for automation and efficiency Design and develop Power BI reports to meet business requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power Platform applications Stay up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features and best practices Essential Qualifications 8+ years of experience working with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate technical solutions 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform development 8+ years of experience with Agile development processes and sprint planning 8+ years of experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps 8+ years of experience in design and development of Power BI reports 8+ years of experience developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows Good understanding of Dataverse tables and uses Good understanding of the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center Preferred Qualifications Experience with SharePoint and other Microsoft technologies Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and methodologies Skills and Competencies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and quality focus Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At FedTec, we prioritize your growth and development.
