The State of Tennessee is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist - Intermediate to support the design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions. This role involves analyzing source data, building reports and dashboards, and troubleshooting BI-related issues to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities Develop and maintain BI reports, queries, and dashboards based on customer requirements Translate user requirements into queries, visualizations, and reusable dashboard templates (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Assist in analyzing source systems and building logical data models Implement and tune Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and validate data accuracy, troubleshoot data-load errors and performance bottlenecks Perform data validation and testing to ensure business needs are met Troubleshoot reporting and data anomalies, escalating issues when necessary Document business processes, use cases, and technical solutions for long-term maintainability.
