As a Key Information Researcher, you will report to Attractions Functional Technology and contribute to the development of AI-powered solutions that make our attractions more magical. Key Responsibilities Collaborate and Lead Cross-Functional Teams : Foster and develop relationships with colleagues, provide thought leadership, and drive initiatives to successful outcomes. Engage with research partners and stakeholders to identify areas where business problems can be solved creatively through ML. Develop and Implement ML Solutions : Lead and work with various engineers and data scientists to design, implement, and scale ML solutions that create magical experiences for our guests and push operational boundaries. Drive Innovation and Proof-of-Concepts : Conduct research, develop proofs-of-concept, and drive technology roadmaps and client interactions that lead to the development of top-tier AI platforms. Manage Operational Support and Maintenance : Oversee the functional support and maintenance of ML-related products and services delivered by the team. Establish Standard Operating Procedures : Develop standard methods used in daily operations and work with specialty units to plan, design, and execute large-scale projects in the AI space. Productionize ML Algorithms : Deploy ML algorithms in predictive analytics, classification, image recognition, NLP, anomaly detection, and more, and evaluate their performance on real-world datasets. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work with various teams to achieve goals in improving infrastructure performance, and coordinate with existing software practices that produce effective code, including automated testing, continuous integration, code style consistency, and code reviews. Essential Qualifications and Skills Python and Predictive Modeling : 2+ years of experience with Python and predictive modeling, including TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, Light, MXNet, and more. Cloud Platforms : 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP. SDLC, QA Cycles, and OOP : Proficiency in SDLC, QA cycles, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design patterns. Data Management : Experience with structured and unstructured data (e.g., images, video, text, etc.) and SQL relational and non-relational databases. Data Workflow Management : 2+ years of experience with Windstream or another data workflow management tool. Version Control and CI/CD : Experience with version control software like GitHub and GitLab, Model Operations, and CI/CD pipelines. Communication and Collaboration : Ability to drive discovery processes with partners to identify business requirements and expected outcomes, with strong interpersonal skills and determination to complete tasks. System Integration and Architecture : Strong system integration and architecture skills, with the ability to transform new technology into business solutions. Preferred Qualifications Docker : Experience with Docker. Control Frameworks : Experience with control frameworks. Kubernetes : Experience with Kubernetes. Cloud Solutions : Experience with cloud solutions in GCP or another cloud platform. Atlassian Tools : Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence. Agile Development : Experience with Agile development methodologies. Automated Testing and Continuous Development : Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous development. Data Visualization and Monitoring : Experience with data visualization and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Plotly, Tableau). Audio and Text Analysis : Experience with audio analysis and text analysis. Education Bachelor's Degree : Master's of Science in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Ph.D. : Preferred: Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
