With a strong focus on customer service, you'll be responsible for answering incoming patient phone calls and billing inquiries, responding to patient general inquiries, and resolving problems and concerns with accuracy and professionalism. **Key Responsibilities** As a RCO Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: * Answering incoming patient phone calls and billing inquiries regarding billed services from our East Coast and West Coast facilities in an efficient, friendly, courteous, tactful, calm, and helpful manner. * Responding to patient general inquiries, information updates, and billing questions while resolving problems and concerns with accuracy and professionalism. * Updating patient demographics and insurance information as needed. * Upon obtaining information to facilitate claim payment, entering necessary insurance data and re-filing claims with insurance companies. * Reviewing patient accounts to determine why there is an outstanding balance and effectively explaining the details. * Processing payments over the phone from patients. * Negotiating payment arrangements with patients. * Explaining insurance company's explanation of benefits (EOB). **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED. * Experience working in a high-volume call center. * Proficient computer skills, including the ability to type 30+ WPM. * Knowledge of medical insurance processes, terminology, and explanation of benefits (EOB). **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Previous experience in a healthcare setting. * Strong knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain professional in all situations. * High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a knack for prioritizing work with a structured approach. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, providers, and payors. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Radiology Forward, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
