Key Responsibilities As a Work from Home Data Entry Specialist at Blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Data Input and Management : Inputting data from paper formats into computer files or database systems, typing in data provided directly from customers, and creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes. Data Verification and Organization : Verifying data by comparing it to source documents, updating existing data, and retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested. Data Preservation and Security : Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation, sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Quality Control and Assurance : Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity through careful data verification and organization. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: Required Skills and Qualifications Proven Experience : Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position. Typing Skills : Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred. Software Knowledge : Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.). Computer Hardware : Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices. Database Understanding : Basic understanding of databases. Communication Skills : Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills. Attention to Detail : Great attention to detail. Education : High school degree or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Previous Experience : Previous experience in data entry or equivalent position is preferred.
