You'll collaborate with the crew to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, implement the selected answer, and facilitate the adoption of the solution by the team. Your responsibilities will also include assisting, developing, and preserving arenaflex's proprietary engine-specific and custom gear used daily. **Key Responsibilities** * Proactively identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in our development process across various disciplines * Preserve, extend, and aid existing development gear * Build and guide custom asset pipelines * Grow arenaflex's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures * Collaborate with the team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, implement the selected answer, and facilitate the adoption of the solution by the team * Assist in the development and maintenance of arenaflex's proprietary engine-specific and custom gear **Essential Qualifications** * A strong passion for empowering others to excel in their roles * Experience with the overall device lifecycle: identifying issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness * Enjoy working with custom standalone gear * Enjoy growing gear that can be utilized by multiple game development disciplines * Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, and JavaScript * Ability to work efficiently in a self-directed environment **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with custom game engines (Unreal or Unity) * Familiarity with JavaScript and Net Tech * Experience with required utility materials * Resume outlining applicable experience **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Proficiency in data entry and management tools * Familiarity with game development pipelines and processes **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
