Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners. Typing in data provided directly from customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, utilizing tools such as MS Excel. Verifying data by comparing it to source documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. Updating existing data to reflect changes, corrections, or new information. Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested by senior team members or management. Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation and prevent loss. Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost or misplaced. Requirements and Skills To succeed as a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will need: Essential Qualifications: Fast typing skills : A minimum of 40-50 words per minute with high accuracy.
