**About the Job**

As an experienced full stack bookkeeper at arenaflex, you'll be at the forefront of cross-functional collaboration, working with various teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance. Your days will be filled with assessing data using SQL and Python, conducting in-depth financial analysis and reporting, and creating complex financial models and forecasts. You'll also have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, develop new skills, and take ownership of your career.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Work cross-functionally with Technical Accounting, Financial Accounting, Design, Product, Finance, Audit, Legal, and other teams on financial processes, cycles, and projects, and assist with driving key system improvements and enhancements
* Create and develop comprehensive financial data requirements to support the continuous automation of journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and efficiency in financial processes
* Lead functional process improvement initiatives to further streamline financial tasks and reduce the financial close cycle
* Review data quality of journal entries prepared through the Income Subledger and develop Information Quality checks for identified use cases through financial requirements planning, special projects, new product launches, etc.
* Collaborate with the Product and Design teams to continuously improve our daily Income Reconciliation process and oversee reconciliation investigation with the assistance of the analysis team
* Conduct monthly financial close responsibilities, including but not limited to: GAAP financial analysis, cost of goods sold analysis, debt claims reconciliations, review journal entries, and audit close package expectations
* Conduct special projects and tasks as assigned

**We're Excited About You Because**

* 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, data analysis, and business intelligence
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 Revenue Recognition required; knowledge of IFRS an asset
* Advanced SQL skills and ability to work with large volumes of conditional data, Python an asset
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing environments
* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both internally and remotely
