Job Overview The District Lead Math Enrichment Tutor will be responsible for overseeing the Math Enrichment program, ensuring that all program components are implemented effectively at identified schools. As a District Lead Math Enrichment Tutor , you will work collaboratively with school-based lead tutors, teachers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality math instruction, provide coaching and support, and foster a culture of academic excellence. Key Responsibilities Coordinate schedules of math enrichment tutors and ensure seamless program implementation at identified schools Serve as the primary point of contact for school-based tutors, providing guidance, support, and resources as needed Ensure that school-based programs have the necessary supplies and materials to deliver effective math instruction Provide instruction to students in small groups, both in-person and virtually, as needed, to support their math learning and development Lead school-based tutors through participation in Small Group Instruction Training Sessions, collaboration with Clinical Educators, and delivery of small group instruction using approved curriculum materials Maintain accurate records of student work, communicate with assigned teachers about student progress, and participate in virtual math support sessions as required Perform other tasks as assigned by the Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator to support the Math Enrichment program and district goals Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess: A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field At least 2+ years of experience teaching math, with a proven track record of success in improving student learning outcomes Strong knowledge of math curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field Experience working in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in leading math enrichment programs or tutoring initiatives Knowledge of educational technology, including online platforms and digital tools, to support math instruction and student learning Experience working with diverse student populations, including English language learners and students with special needs Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with ability to use data to inform instruction and drive student learning outcomes Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you must possess: Strong math content knowledge , with ability to teach and tutor students in various math subjects and topics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders Leadership and coaching skills , with ability to lead and support school-based tutors and provide guidance and feedback Organizational and time management skills , with ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accurate records Technological skills , with ability to use digital tools and platforms to support math instruction and student learning Data analysis and interpretation skills , with ability to use data to inform instruction and drive student learning outcomes Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At Cabarrus County Schools, we are committed to supporting the professional growth and development of our employees.
