Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Director of Information Security (IAM) to lead our Character Control and Examination team, reporting into the Personality Lifecycle Management association. As the head of this team, you will be responsible for providing strategic vision and leadership around Identity and Access Management (IAM) for internal stakeholders and partners, with a focus on ensuring that arenaflex continues to deliver minimum risk.You will drive a team of Data Security Analysts, Managers, and Experts in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to provide valuable insights and recommendations. Key Responsibilities * Provide strategic vision and leadership around IAM for internal stakeholders and partners, with a focus on ensuring that arenaflex continues to deliver minimum risk. * Lead a team of Data Security Analysts, Managers, and Experts in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to provide valuable insights and recommendations.* Ensure the ongoing effectiveness and efficiency of key IAM controls, such as Access Audits and Termination Cycles. * Identify potential opportunities to reduce friction by driving the team to design solutions that proactively reduce the need for human intervention in IAM controls. * Collaborate with other teams within Data Security to ensure IAM controls are part of a comprehensive security strategy that protects arenaflex clients, partners, and investors from security risk. * Drive and train a team of experienced Data Security Experts to ensure their continued growth and commitment.* Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. * Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team, encouraging experimentation and learning from failures. Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Security, or other related field, or equivalent work experience. * At least 3 years of experience in a role fundamentally centered around Data Security. * At least 3 years of experience in a direct leadership position with a history of training and driving others in professional development.* Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM). Ability to see all aspects of the IAM lifecycle, including the risks and weaknesses in that. * Excellent decision-making and critical thinking skills. Specifically, the ability to lead a team to develop those skills. * Ability to recruit and develop talent within Data Security, with a focus on using employee leadership to drive commitment of direct reports. * Ability to adapt in a technically complex and rapidly changing environment, and to respond calmly and thoughtfully to changing demands in a deadline-driven situation.* Ability to lead by example, by distilling complex details into findings and recommendations that can be actioned. * Understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment of financial organizations. * Experience with risk management frameworks, such as NIST and regulatory frameworks like PCI. Preferred Qualifications * CISSP, CISM, or other related certification. * Six Sigma or other related quality certification.
