We're now seeking an experienced Data Investigator to join our Pack Trial and Error and Analysis team, where you'll play a critical role in shaping our business strategy and driving success. About Our Team and blithequark's DTC Business Our team is dedicated to unlocking the full potential of blithequark's DTC business, which encompasses a range of popular streaming services. As a Data Investigator on our team, you'll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify key business challenges and develop data-driven solutions to address them. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Business Leaders : Work closely with business pioneers to define the most pressing business challenges related to Pack trends and drivers, and develop insightful strategies to address these questions. Develop a Continuous Insights Pipeline : Help create a seamless flow of Pack intel to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring that everyone has access to the data they need to make informed decisions. Conduct In-Depth Trend Analyses : Perform comprehensive analyses of Pack trends, evaluating the contributions of drivers from every possible angle to identify opportunities for growth. Define and Analyze Audience Segments : Identify and analyze key audience segments to drive Pack growth and inform business strategy. Integrate Insights Across Teams : Collaborate with other Analysis teams to integrate insights from multiple sources, creating a cohesive and compelling narrative that drives business decisions. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. At least 3 years of hands-on analytical work experience with tools like R, Python, SAS, or SQL. Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and other quantitative methodologies, including linear and logistic regression, significance testing, data preparation for modeling, and segmentation techniques. Skill in manipulating large datasets, interpreting data trends, and utilizing a range of data sources and tools. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, etc. Proven analytical skills, with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations. Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to tell a story with data and organize findings into actionable recommendations. The capacity to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and customer data. Knowledge of designing, implementing, and analyzing sophisticated A/B/MVT test builds. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in the streaming media industry or other subscription-based services. Experience working with Marketing teams or in the Marketing landscape.
