Key Responsibilities Utilize pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Assist pharmacists in performing various pharmacy department duties, adhering to company policies and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patients and customers to address their needs and concerns. Model and share customer service best practices with team members to ensure a positive and delightful customer experience. Develop strong relationships with key customers, fostering loyalty and driving business growth. Assist with stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs. Perform clerical tasks, such as processing claims for third-party prescription services and handling cash register operations. Support pharmacists in administering medical services, including the collection and labeling of blood/urine samples. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pharmacy department, adhering to company standards and policies. Essential and Preferred Qualifications Basic Qualifications Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Preferred Qualifications Six months of experience in a retail environment. Previous work experience with Walgreens. Strong math skills, including the ability to count, measure, and weigh medications accurately. Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of store inventory management. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification.
