About the Role As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in supporting the design, development, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines at scale. Your primary responsibilities will include inputting, verifying, and organizing data to ensure accuracy and timeliness. You'll work independently, adhering to strict deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines at scale Refresh data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency Process batch handling of collected data, matching its structure to stored data Investigate standard performance, data-related issues, and provide L3 support Implement parsers, validators, transformers, and correlators to reformat, update, and enhance data Provide suggestions for complex issues and guidance to junior team members Collaborate with IT, business, developers, and data scientists to deliver value Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A technical background in computer science, programming, database systems, or distributed systems Familiarity with distributed and cloud environments, with a deep understanding of optimizing computational considerations Experience building robust cloud-based data engineering and curation solutions Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure tooling for large-scale data engineering endeavors Experience with Agile and DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala Experience with data storage tools like SQL and NoSQL databases Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you'll ideally have: Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, or Azure Synapse Analytics Knowledge of data processing frameworks like Spark, Kafka, or Flink Familiarity with data integration patterns and data quality frameworks Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Background in data analysis, analysis, and heredity studies to document and improve data quality and access Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we're committed to helping you grow your career.
