Key Responsibilities Data Entry and Management: Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Data Verification and Validation: Verify data by comparing it to source documents, updating existing data, and retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested. Data Preservation and Organization: Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and sort and organize paperwork after entering data to prevent loss or misfiling. Customer Data Management: Type in data provided directly from customers, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection principles. Reporting to Senior Team Members: Report to a data manager or another senior data team member, receiving guidance and support to ensure high-quality work. Essential and Preferred Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Proven Experience: Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role, with a track record of accuracy and efficiency. Typing Skills: Fast typing skills, with a strong preference for knowledge of the touch typing system. MS Office Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, particularly MS Office Word and Excel. Computer Hardware and Software: Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices. Basic Database Understanding: Basic understanding of databases and data management principles. Language Skills: Good command of English, both oral and written, with excellent customer service skills.
