We’d love to add an experienced Logistics and Manufacturing Coordinator t to our fast growing team. The role will be remote, but will need to be in the Houston, TX area. Job Summary: The Manufacturing & Logistics Coordinator will oversee daily manufacturing and logistics functions. Duties/Responsibilities: • Accept and enter orders into the ERP system. Verify pricing and product availability. • Schedules product manufacturing at designated chemical plants. • Schedules shipments to ensure delivery by promised deadlines. • Assigns shipments to appropriate carriers. • Assists customers, field personnel, carriers, and team members with order inquiries. • Resolves manufacturing & logistics problems. • Performs other manufacturing & logistics related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Proficiency with ERP Systems. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • CFR 49 CERTIFIED a PLUS • At least 1-2 years of experience in the Chemical industry, preferred. • At least 1-2 years of experience in Bulk HazMat shipping required. • ISO Tank shipping experience a plus. • Export experience a plus, but not required.
