As a Remote Data Entry Professional, you will be an integral part of our team, providing specialized support for our network framework and internal work area systems, software, and hardware. You will be responsible for introducing, arranging, and investigating desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues, as well as maintaining passwords, data integrity, and record system security. Key Responsibilities Enter, update, and verify data accurately to ensure data integrity and quality Provide technical support to PC system users, answering questions and resolving PC issues via phone, email, or remote access Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including hardware and software problems, client errors, and other technical concerns Communicate with clients by telephone to discuss identified issues or concerns and resolve problems Investigate identified issues by gathering information, researching web information sites, and internal resources to identify solutions and facilitate resolution Conduct site visits within the region to investigate issues and install or update equipment and software as needed Follow up with clients to confirm issues were resolved completely and to ensure customer satisfaction Complete service orders to avoid operational delays in resolving issues Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Strong data entry skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical clients Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (client/server) Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high volume of technical issues to resolve Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Experience with Cisco VPN, Citrix, Apparition, Symantec, Remote Desktop Applications, Active Directory, and various Internet browsers Previous experience in a technical support role, with a strong track record of resolving complex technical issues Familiarity with UPS systems and infrastructure (although training will be provided) Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work with clients at all levels Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At UPS, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
