They are seeking an Account Manager in the SMB Merchant Network to oversee a restaurant portfolio, optimize Grubhub accounts, and cultivate restaurant relationships to drive growth.ResponsibilitiesDevelop a solid understanding of Grubhub's products and services, including their features, benefits, and value propositionsAssist in managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely communication, and addressing basic inquiries or concerns from clientsAssist restaurants in attracting new diners, boosting order volume, and delivering top-quality service to their dinersConduct regular check-ins with restaurant partners to gather feedback, assess satisfaction levels, and identify areas for improvementRespond to restaurant inquiries, account issues, and requests or route them to appropriate company departments within turnaround time expectationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, including notes on discussions, action items, and follow-up tasksParticipate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and overall proficiency in account management practicesProactively seek opportunities to contribute to team goals and initiatives, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow in the roleSkillsOutstanding, positive attitude with passion and aptitude for working in a fast-paced and fast-growing environmentBachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience and High School degree/GED required1-2 years of Sales experience. Experience working with (or selling to) restaurant owners is a major plus. Restaurant experience is also a plusNative-level fluency in English is requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsConfident making outbound dials on the phoneProven track record of success in meeting and exceeding goalsImpeccable organizational skills, easily balancing multiple tasks at once; self-starter with a strong bias towards action and problem-solving; maximizes effectiveness by focusing time in the right areasStrong computer skills (MS Office, Google products) with the ability to quickly learn new softwareCandidates fluent in Mandarin or Spanish are strongly preferredExperience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM is a plusBenefitsEquity401KMultiple medical, dental, and vision plansCompany OverviewGrubhub is an online platform that connects customers with local restaurants.
