Job Overview We are seeking an experienced data entry and pharmacy technician professional to at arenaflex.As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. Key Responsibilities Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with state, federal, and company policies Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions Model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and providing assistance with services and products Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers and resolve customer issues and answer inquiries to ensure a positive customer experience Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow, and report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty Strictly adhere to the arenaflex Policy regarding good faith dispensing throughout all applicable prescription dispensing activities Register all related sales on assigned cash register, collect and handle cash as required, and take customers to the OTC aisle when possible to assist in finding products Handle phone calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians Process manual claims for third-party application prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and perform other clerical duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager Essential Qualifications Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) Preferred: six months of experience in a retail environment Preferred: previous work experience with arenaflex Preferred: desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications Preferred: good computer skills Preferred: knowledge of store inventory control Preferred: PTCB certification Skills and Competencies Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Basic math skills and attention to detail Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a teamCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.As a data entry and pharmacy technician professional, you will have access to training and development programs, including our pharmacy technician apprenticeship program, which is recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor.
