About the Role We're seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team as a Security Risk Engineer (L4), Data Analyst. As a key player in our risk management program, you'll help develop and implement a comprehensive strategic vision that drives risk measurement, statistical modeling, and impact analysis. Your expertise will enable blithequark to make informed decisions and foster a culture of inclusivity and innovation. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement key risk indicators, contribute to the development of key control indicators, and key performance indicators for various programs Apply statistical models to risk frameworks (FAIR, Monte-Carlo with Spunky distributions, sensitivity analysis, etc.) to drive informed decision-making Utilize your knowledge of R, Python, SQL, and other tools to analyze and visualize risk data Participate in risk management, decision-making, and collaborative discussions to drive business outcomes Support measured risk assessments and understand the value of qualitative data for improvements to quality and engineering processes Develop loss event scenarios across operating units, business units, enterprises, and products using data security risk expertise Interpret internal or external cybersecurity risk assessments in business terms and recommend actionable solutions Create templates and informative materials to facilitate self-service risk management activities based on defined risk tolerances Monitor and identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of risk management processes Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Strong knowledge of risk management, data security, statistics, and professional security practices Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, and other data analysis tools Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or other statistical and visualization instruments Understanding of relevant data collection, data cleaning, and data analysis techniques Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally Guiding principle skills, including meticulousness, inclusivity, and a wide knowledge of how to operationalize the management of risk as part of standard workflow Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge: Experience in risk management, data analysis, or a related field Knowledge of statistical modeling and risk assessment frameworks Familiarity with cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigation strategies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights What We Offer At blithequark, we're committed to fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration.
