**Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Data Entry Clerk & Online Chat Assistant, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of data-driven solutions, as well as providing exceptional customer service through online chat support. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and maintaining data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to support business operations and decision-making
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Monitoring and Business Analysts, to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
* Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and data architecture to support business growth and innovation
* Utilizing data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful visualizations using Power BI
* Automating existing business processes and improving exception-based reporting
* Partnering with IT and business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and integrate new data sources (data mining)
* Evaluating large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable insights
* Validating data for accuracy and resolving discrepancies
* Researching and remediating data errors
* Participating in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods
* Examining and validating metrics to ensure effectiveness and providing recommendations to team leaders on areas for improvement
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 2+ years of experience in comprehensive data analysis, with a strong focus on data visualization and storytelling
* Proficiency in Power BI, including experience with Dimensions, Solutions, Filters, Computed Fields, makeovers, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc.
* Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code
* Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, PowerBI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
* Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
* Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets
* Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
* Familiarity with Smartsheets
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
* Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
* Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services
* Experience with agile project management methodologies
