Structural Engineer-EIT

Centerline is a leading provider of critical infrastructure solutions across North America. They are seeking a recent college graduate or early career EIT Certified Structural Engineer to work on various telecom projects, collaborating with the Engineer of Record and applying knowledge of structural analysis and design. Responsibilities Must be able to jump to multiple jobs at once and multitask well Self-starter with desire to develop more industry skills and learn exciting new technologies Can work well with teams, but also with little supervision Accurately and timely document job information Must have excellent communication, electronically and in person Ability to work outside in all weather conditions if needed Willing to put in extra hours when needed, but also enjoy the shorter hours when available Accurately follow instructions and complete assigned course of action in accordance with scope of work Understand and strictly adhere to established customer quality requirements without deviation Skills Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university Passed the engineer-in-training or fundamentals of engineering exam (EI or EIT), required Proficiency in utilizing 3D Modeling software for structural analysis, with a preference for familiarity with RISA 3D software Familiarity with AutoCAD drafting/modeling software Ability to comprehend spatial relationships to troubleshoot potential interference issues Understanding of structural load paths Knowledgeable in bolted and welded connection design Completion of courses in steel design and concrete design; experience in designing steel and concrete structures is beneficial Familiarity or experience with steel shop fabrication processes and/or knowledge of fabrication shop tools and capabilities is advantageous Proficiency in using bolthires Suite products such as MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook Strong written and verbal communication abilities Must be willing to travel within local markets and no travel restrictions within the United States (15% travel, but usually less, usually 1-2 day trips) BenefitsComprehensive insurance benefits — medical, dental, and vision 401(k) plan Referral bonuses Generous PTO Company Overview Centerline is a leading provider of critical infrastructure services for next-generation networks across North America.It was founded in 2006, and is headquartered in Raynham, Massachusetts, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
