We're seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time employee (FTE). As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch service to our client's customers who have or are looking to obtain life insurance policies through their employer. Key Responsibilities and Expectations Respond to customer requests via telephone, providing excellent service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Process transactions, prepare correspondence, and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Discuss various topics with customers, including enrolling or changing life insurance amounts, confirming or changing beneficiaries, policy provisions, and billing inquiries. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Work in a virtual/remote setting, requiring a quiet and secure work environment, reliable high-speed internet, and the ability to use video during interviews, coaching, and virtual training. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the insurance industry or a call center setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers, colleagues, and management. Strong technical skills, including the ability to use reference materials and adapt to new systems and processes. Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
