With forensic accounting professionals in over 40 offices on 5 continents, MDD has global resources to assist our clients with their forensic accounting needs.MDD helps insurance companies, independent adjustment firms, multinational corporations, government entities, and individuals calculate the true economic damage of claims or disputes. We are looking for an Accounting Assistant with previous office experience. You will join a team of support staff who are focused on providing a high-quality service to our firm’s employees, Partners, and clients across the US. As you will be joining a small evolving team, flexibility and a willingness to learn and collaborate is key.You must be highly self-motivated, detail oriented, and capable of working both independently and as a member of a team. Duties & Responsibilities performed but not limited to: Accounts Receivable • Prepare AR statements / overdue notices • Build relationships with clients through professional calls and emails • Record AR follow up activity in our ERP software (training provided) • Interaction with employees and Partners • Work with colleagues to escalate and resolve problematic receivables Billing • Drafting invoices • Complying with client requirements • Upload invoices to client portals • Monitor billing inbox • Interaction with employees and Partners • Work with colleagues to escalate and resolve problematic receivables Other administrative duties • Updating our ERP software Qualifications • Previous office and administrative experience • Intermediate MS Excel and MS Word skills • Excellent attention to detail • A desire to learn • Strong critical thinking • An aptitude for numbers • Previous billing experience would be desirable For the right person, excellent opportunities to learn and work with a team of great colleagues across the US.Benefits MDD offers an excellent benefits package which includes PTO, 401k and profit sharing, medical, dental, vision, and life and disability.
