Our people are our greatest strength, and we work as one team in service of our customers and communities. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Customer Service Associate III – Health and Life Insurance, you will be responsible for answering complex customer inquiries on currently marketed health insurance products (re-rate, complex claims) as well as currently marketed life insurance products. You will act as a resource, take complex calls, provide customer service, and be responsible for answering incoming calls as well as placing outbound calls the majority of the time. **Key Responsibilities** * Answer incoming customer calls and respond to customer requests, answering complex questions, and interpreting a variety of policies, rules, regulations, and performing a full range of customer service duties. * Understand basic telecommunications and provide an advanced knowledge of products and functionality. * Provide quick, professional, precise resolution to customer issues/questions. * Enter customer requests into data systems, open and dispatch work orders to various departments, and complete call history. * Handle customer requests via fax, email, or voicemail within 24 hours or 1 business day. **Supervisory Responsibilities** This role does not have supervisory duties. **Education and Experience** * High school diploma or equivalent. * 0-2 years of experience (Preferred). * In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. **Certificates, Licenses, Registrations** * No Certification, License, or Registration is required for the job. **Functional Skills** * Up to two years of post-high school training in a specialized trade, technical school, or college. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). * Insurance background, including knowledge of health insurance terminology, is preferred. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. **Work Environment and Culture** At blithequark, we pride ourselves on creating a work environment that is inclusive, diverse, and supportive.
