**Key Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Customer Service and Sales Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing fast, friendly service to customers by actively seeking out their needs and providing expert product knowledge to assist with their purchases
* Learning about products using our tools and providing information to customers to sell an entire project
* Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department, as well as handling basics in adjacent departments
* Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to your Manager on Duty
* Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
* Participating in sales promotions, events, and training programs to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

As an Experienced Customer Service and Sales Representative, you may work in one or more of the following store departments:
* Building Materials

* Garden

**Essential Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* Strong product knowledge and ability to learn quickly about new products and services
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
