About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Business Tutor/Assessor to join our team on a part-time, full-time, or contract basis. As a Business Tutor/Assessor, you will play a critical role in delivering high-level training and support to our apprentices, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality training and support to apprentices working towards their apprenticeship standards, either in group or 1:1 workshops Liaise with employers to ensure that apprentices are meeting their requirements and to identify areas for improvement Prepare apprentices for End-Point Assessments (EPA) and provide guidance and support throughout the assessment process Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including Prevent, Safeguarding, Equality, and Health & Safety Provide pastoral support and guidance to apprentices, helping them to overcome any challenges or obstacles they may face Complete administrative tasks and reporting requirements, including tracking apprentice progress and providing feedback to employers Continuously improve and develop our training programs, using feedback from apprentices and employers to inform our practice Essential Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A background in business, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a management or senior position A passion for teaching and a desire to support the development of others Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with apprentices, employers, and colleagues A flexible approach to work, with the ability to work from home and occasionally visit apprentices in their places of work Access to transport, with a willingness to travel as required Desirable Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: Assessor Qualification D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA Teaching Qualification Level 3 Award in Education or above Maths, English, and ICT GCSE, A Level, or Functional Skills at Level 2 Personal Qualities To be successful in this role, you will need to be: Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed and make a positive impact A supportive and empathetic individual, with a passion for helping others to develop and grow An excellent communicator, with strong verbal and written skills A flexible and adaptable individual, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment What We Offer In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a range of benefits, including: A competitive salary, with part-time, full-time, and contract options available Flexible working hours, with the ability to work from home and manage your own schedule Unlimited holiday for employed employees, with a generous annual leave allowance A compassionate and supportive work environment, with a strong focus on work-life balance Opportunities for professional development and growth, with regular staff training and CPD A friendly and relaxed team environment, with a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork Application Requirements To apply for this role, please submit your CV and a cover letter, outlining your experience, qualifications, and reasons for applying.
