**Experienced Behavioral Health Customer Service Advocate – arenaflex Health Services – Remote Opportunity**

As a Behavioral Health Customer Service Advocate, you'll be the first point of contact for members and providers seeking services for mental health and/or substance use disorders. Our mission is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of millions of people, and we're looking for talented individuals like you to join our team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Take back-to-back phone calls from members and providers, using your exceptional communication skills to ensure every caller's experience is both efficient and compassionate. * Triage and conduct intake for risk of harm and substance use concerns, using your independent judgment to deliver accurate information and exceptional service. * Communicate eligibility, assist with scheduling appointments, provide referrals, quote benefits, and advise on authorization requirements, using your strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues on the first call. * Collaborate with matrix partners and coordinate seamless handoffs to clinical teams for timely support, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all stakeholders. * Navigate multiple systems and applications across multiple screens while on calls, using your multitasking abilities to manage up to 9 programs at once. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, or bachelor's degree in another field plus 2+ years of behavioral health experience. * Customer service experience, with a strong track record of providing exceptional service and support. * Strong time management and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple calls simultaneously. * Proficiency with typing and PC usage, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and applications. * Must remain at your workstation while handling calls from a phone queue. **Training Schedule:** * Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM CST, with a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. **Work Schedule:** * A permanent 8-hour shift between the hours of 7am-7pm CST will be offered based on business need, with flexibility to accommodate your needs and preferences. **Compensation and Benefits:** * We anticipate offering an hourly rate of $19-$29 USD/hour, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. * This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan, providing an opportunity to earn additional compensation based on performance. * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, and well-being and behavioral health programs, starting on day one of your employment. * 401(k) with company match, company-paid life insurance, tuition reimbursement, a minimum of 18 days of paid time off per year, and paid holidays. **Work Environment and Company Culture:** * arenaflex is committed to creating a healthy, balanced, and secure work environment, with a focus on supporting your whole health. * Our company culture is built on a foundation of empathy, compassion, and respect, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration. * We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our business. **How to Apply:** If you're passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives and have the skills and experience to succeed in this role, we encourage you to apply.
