About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Army Civilian Talent Management Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading business development activities for a small government contracting firm focused on IT Services and Cyber Security for clients in Civil and DoD markets. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute to the growth and success of our company. Key Responsibilities Oversee program to increase readiness of Civilian workforce and develop, implement, and institutionalize Army Civilian talent management across its four core functions acquire, develop, employ, and retain. Provide oversight and guidance for all personnel assigned to the TO, performance of work, and compliance and quality control. Provide analytic, advisory, management, and administrative support to all activities as necessary. Conduct bi-weekly program reviews with client. Travel to Washington, DC and Chicago, IL as required. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: MUST BE A US CITIZEN. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Masters degree and five years of experience supporting the Department of Defense. In lieu of a masters degree, 10 years experience supporting the Department of Defense and a bachelors degree. Extremely knowledgeable in Army Staff operations including talent management life cycle areas (acquire, develop, employ, and retain). Extensive knowledge of the Army talent management initiatives, strategic planning, workforce development, employee engagement, leadership development, career programs, marketing, graphic design, and data science, analysis, and reporting. Secret Clearance. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong project management skills, including experience with program management and talent management. Excellent analytical, advisory, management, and administrative skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Ability to travel to Washington, DC and Chicago, IL as required.
