Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Manager - Floor (Grocery) Receiving to join our team in Pottsville, PA. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for communicating with individuals and groups, implementing business plans, managing staffing and scheduling, and maintaining quality and safety standards in your area of responsibility. You will supervise and develop associates and leaders, identify and address concerns, and drive success through effective leadership and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and associates to achieve facility goals and resolve concerns. Implement the business plan for your area of responsibility, including managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads. Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports to inform data-driven decisions. Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and identifying training and development needs. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills. The minimum qualifications for this position include: Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field and 1 year of supervisory experience. OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field. OR 1 year of Walmart Logistics Management experience. OR 2 years of Walmart Logistics experience. OR 2 years of supervisory experience. Preferred qualifications include experience with Microsoft Office, supervising associates, and Walmart Logistics Systems, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics.
