Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Part Time Senior Caregiver at Home, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to seniors in their own homes. Your duties may include, but are not limited to: Companionship: engaging in conversations, playing games, watching TV, and other activities to provide emotional support and companionship Transportation: driving seniors to appointments, errands, and social events Lunch preparation and grocery shopping: preparing healthy meals and snacks, and assisting with grocery shopping Laundry and light housekeeping: assisting with laundry, cleaning, and other light housekeeping tasks Hands-on care: providing assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs Medication management: assisting with medication reminders and administration Mobility assistance: providing support with walking, transferring, and other mobility needs You will be working closely with families to understand their unique needs and preferences, and tailoring your care and support to meet those needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of care provided, and communicating with families and our organization as needed. Essential Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and requirements: Be at least 18 years old Have a verifiable phone number Ability to pass a standard background check Have a valid Social Security Number Be reliable, honest, and dedicated to providing high-quality care Have a strong passion for working with seniors and a commitment to delivering exceptional care and support Preferred qualifications include previous experience working with seniors, certification in caregiving or a related field, and proficiency in a second language.
