We're proud to be ranked #28 in the country as the best startup employer by Forbes. **Job Summary** We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced tutor to join our team at Esperanza Academy. As an In-Person Tutor, you'll work with students of all ages between K-4th grade, providing individualized support to help them catch up on learning gaps developed over the past school year. You'll be responsible for supervising students, conducting small group tutoring sessions, and documenting student progress. If you're passionate about education, enjoy working with children, and are looking for a consistent tutoring schedule, this is the perfect opportunity for you. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare the tutoring area to start sessions and pick up and drop off students from designated areas * Conduct small group tutoring sessions alongside other tutors, ensuring every student has a full grasp of the lesson * Take attendance and run lessons for online learning where applicable * Document student progress using the HeyTutor Dashboard * Monitor students' understanding and interactions with the lesson, engaging and interacting with the students to ensure they have a full grasp of the material * Perform additional duties as required by the District/Student need **Schedule** * Monday-Friday, 5.5 hours per day * 3 Tutors needed during school hours (M-F, 8:55am-3:55pm) **Requirements** * Tutoring experience, with a proven track record of working with children * Comfortable working in a classroom setting * Clear FBI-DOJ background check (provided through us) * Clear drug test * Technology proficiency **Pay and Benefits** * Competitive pay based on experience * Determined at the time of the interview * Opportunity to work with a leading EdTech company * Consistent weekly schedule * Rewards for tutors achieving certain milestones **Who We Are** HeyTutor is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
