Configuration Analyst - IT Business Solutions
Westland Insurance Group Ltd is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a Configuration Analyst. In this hybrid role, you will support and enhance core ERP systems by translating business needs into effective configurations, workflows, and automated solutions.ResponsibilitiesAct as a configuration specialist for Westland’s ERP systems, primarily Acturis, ensuring system setups support business operations effectivelyUpdate and maintain system configurations, workflows, rules, and automation logic, keeping accurate documentation of all changesDevelop and maintain Acturis document templates (policy documents, letters, wordings) using merge fields, conditional logic, and scripting for accurate, automated outputsSupport system changes and new functionality, including testing configurations with Business Analysts and stakeholdersAssess impacts of new releases or updates on current configurations and business processesProvide functional support to end users, ensuring systems continue to meet business needs and operational requirementsCollaborate with Business Analysts and business users to define and design system configurations, workflows, and document outputsParticipate in design reviews, testing, peer reviews, and cross-training, supporting continuous improvement across supported systemsSkillsYou have a post-secondary diploma or degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceYou've configured ERP or line-of-business systems, including workflows, rules, and system settings (experience with Acturis is a strong plus)You've developed or maintained system-generated documents or templates using merge fields, conditional logic, or scripting (e.g., Acturis document wordings and templates)You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail when working with system configuration and dataYou can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with Business Analysts and business stakeholdersYou have excellent communication and organizational skills and a customer-focused approach to supporting business systemsBenefitsFinancial assistance is available for approved work-related training/development courses leading to certification, and programs that offer professional development, including seminars and conferences.Flexible paid Values Days to celebrate days important to youPaid Volunteer Days for employees as part of Amplifying Communities, a program to support causes that matter most to our employees and clientsCompany OverviewFrom humble beginnings in 1980 as a single family-owned brokerage in Ladner, BC, Westland has grown to become one of the largest insurance brokerages in the country.
