Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and directing the 8th Grade Girls' Basketball program Supervise students, enforcing district, school, league, and CHSAA rules and regulations Possess and demonstrate knowledge and skills in basketball, teaching advanced techniques to students Promote and follow Board of Education policies, Superintendent Policies, and building and department procedures Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, colleagues, and the community, embracing diversity and inclusivity Prioritize safety in the workplace, following safety rules and reporting any concerns to the administration Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must: Hold a current certificate in First Aid/CPR or be willing to obtain Be a CDE licensed teacher or hold a valid Coaches registration with CHSAA Possess a current concussion certification from the NFHS or Children's Hospital Colorado Pass the CHSAA annual Coaches Exam Preferred Qualifications Previous coaching experience and/or participation at the high school or college level is highly preferred. Candidates with a background in basketball, either as a player or coach, will be given priority consideration.
