Event Director II - Live Production

Job Summary:
Direct live production for remote and in-house events, including complex sports events and ESPN profiles
Oversee technical production of television broadcasts, script monitoring, and work with producers to record sports events
Collaborate with design and production teams to provide support and guidance on content philosophy and coverage
Lead and manage technical teams for live event production, providing direction, feedback, and development
Work closely with remote operations to determine industry and user requirements for telecasts
Responsibilities:
Plan, direct, and execute live productions of remote and REMI live sporting events, properly documenting assigned events
Supervise technical teams for live event productions, providing direction, feedback, and development
Collaborate with designers and organizers to determine creative vision and technical direction of exhibitions
Make immediate decisions about images and sounds to be broadcast, converting data and information to determine camera parameters and features
Lead technical teams and remote staff, conducting production and technical meetings to define employee roles and expectations
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience leading complex live sports events
Deep expertise in conducting live and remote sports events
Knowledge of technical equipment involved in conducting live and remote sports events
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely among all crew members during live broadcasts
