ETL Developer Ab Initio/ Ab Initio Consultant/ Data Integration Engineer Ab Initio- Remote
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ETL Ab Initio Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Ab Initio development, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. You will work closely with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to build scalable and efficient data pipelines supporting enterprise analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Ab Initio (GDE, Co>Operating System, EME)
ā¢ Develop scalable batch and real-time data processing solutions
ā¢ Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading from multiple sources
ā¢ Optimize ETL performance and ensure data integrity
ā¢ Work with large-scale enterprise data and complex transformations
ā¢ Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
ā¢ Implement data quality validations and error handling
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including BI, analytics, and application teams
ā¢ Maintain technical documentation and best practices
ā¢ Participate in code reviews and deployment processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
ā¢ 4+ years of ETL development experience
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio tools and architecture
ā¢ Experience with GDE, Conduct>It, Control Center, and Metadata Hub
ā¢ Strong SQL and database experience (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2, etc.)
ā¢ Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts
ā¢ Experience with Unix/Linux scripting
ā¢ Knowledge of performance tuning and job optimization
ā¢ Experience with file processing (XML, JSON, CSV, Flat files)
