Entry Shipping/Receiving SpecialistCompany:Boeing Distribution, Inc.Boeing Global Services, Distribution Business is looking for an Entry-Level Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our team in Wichita, KS.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. Position Summary: Assists with initial verification for identification and damage on incoming/outgoing receivers/shippers. Processes receiving/shipping documentation. Packages and processes shipments. Assists with maintaining inventory of shipping/receiving supplies.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs. and manage cartons in excess of 35 lbs. utilizing available safety tools.Places parts in proper location after identifying and verifying part numbersUses a utility cart, identifies cartons by part number, uses a computer or laptop, cart, cycle counts product, hand scanner and PC.Picking and filling orders using a laptop computerReceive parts and disburse to proper binsMatches paperwork to box and prepares orders for billing / shippingSupport reaching Departmental & Company Key ResultsPerforms other duties as requested, directed or assignedBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):General Work ExperienceAbility to stand and walk on cement floors for long periods of time throughout the workday.Ability to fluently read, write and speak EnglishBasic Computer KnowledgeDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift: This position is 1st Shift.At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
