Job Summary
ā¢ Under general supervision manages employee health services and the hospital's Worker's Compensation program.
Essential Functions
ā¢ Manages employee health initiatives such as maintaining employee health files, employee TB screenings/chest x-rays, vaccines, etc.
ā¢ Coordinates and conducts new employee health screenings.
ā¢ Identified employee illnesses, exposures and injuries to assess risk potential for prevention or transmission or recurrences.
ā¢ Develops and maintains policies and procedures to direct the activities of the employee health program.
ā¢ Administers employee Hepatitis B Vaccine program.
ā¢ Institutes employee work restrictions if the potential for transmission of infection exists.
ā¢ Serves on committees, as appropriate, which are involved in selection, evaluation and design and impact the employee health program.
ā¢ Enters incident/claim information into the Event Reporting System (ERS).
ā¢ Acts as a liaison for OSHA or Department of Industry, Labor and Human Relations (DILHR) inspections.
ā¢ Maintains the OSHA log.

ā¢ Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patients and/or employee information to assure patient and/or employee rights are protected.
ā¢ Demonstrates good interpersonal skills when working or interacting with residents, their families, and other staff members.
ā¢ Ability to work under stress and to respond quickly in emergency situations.
ā¢ Approximate percent of time required to travel: 5%
ā¢ Must read, write and speak fluent English.
ā¢ Must have good and regular attendance.
ā¢ Performs other related duties as assigned.
Pay Range: $31.96 - $40.53/Hour

Qualifications
Education
ā¢ Associates degree leading toward licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse
Licenses/Certification
ā¢ Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse
Experience
ā¢ 1-year clinical experience in medical-surgical or critical care nursing
