Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting an Electrical Engineer (3618). Duration: Work is estimated to last 3 to 6 months but may go longer. . Responsibilities: Design electrical distribution and control systems for auxiliary support: IC power systems, emergency power backup (battery, diesel), lighting, communications. Develop detailed electrical schematics and load analysis. Ensure robust grounding, redundancy, and compliance with nuclear-grade electrical standards. Coordinate with civil and mechanical disciplines for integration. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. 5+ years designing electrical systems for nuclear or critical infrastructure. Experience with power distribution, UPS, emergency power, and IC systems. Knowledge of IEEE, NEC, and nuclear-grade electrical design standards. Preferred Qualifications: Licensed Professional Engineer Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
