About the Employer Pacific Coast Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school serving transitional kindergarten through 12th grade students in San Diego, Orange, Riverside, and Imperial Counties. Job Summary Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director - Student Services, the Education Specialist will support the instructional program for all students and provide academic, behavioral, and social intervention services to identified students. As an employee of Pacific Coast Academy, this employee will follow the responsibilities and procedures as delineated in the Pacific Coast Academy Personnel Handbook. Required Documents - English Learner Authorization - TB Test Clearance - Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance - Current First Aid/CPR certification Salary Info Placement on the pay scale is dependent on experience, along with provisions of the Compensation Policy. Salaries are prorated to reflect the portion of the year worked over the annual school calendar Comments and Other Information This position is primarily virtual though there may be instances where itinerant or travel required in San Diego County and the adjacent counties is needed. Qualified candidates may also support students with Mild/Moderate disabilities to the extent to which the credential allows.
