EDI Test Automation Engineer 100% Remote Responsibilities: • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for a wide range of EDI transactions, including 837, 820, 835, 270/271, 277U, and NCPDP. • Design and build test automation frameworks leveraging Python, C#, and VBScript. • Validate EDI data mappings, transformations, and business rules within ITX and Edifecs environments. • Ensure all EDI processes and test outputs align with HIPAA compliance standards. • Collaborate with development, QA, and integration teams to troubleshoot EDI issues and optimize workflows. • Document test results, defects, and requirements traceability to support overall quality assurance. Requirements: • Extensive hands-on experience with healthcare EDI transactions: 837, 820, 835, 270/271, 277U, NCPDP. • Strong working knowledge of ITX, Edifecs, and HIPAA regulatory compliance. • Proficiency in Python, C#, and VBScript for test automation development. • Background in building automated testing frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines (preferred). • Ability to analyze complex EDI files and troubleshoot mapping, transformation, and compliance issues.
