What youll be doing...
The Director will be responsible for tracking Verizon and industry network technology plans and ensuring that the wireless device roadmap (across business channels) is enabled to support the technical and business needs of the corporation. This role will oversee the development of detailed technical requirements, hardware and software architecture to support the business requirements of the various device offerings.
This role also requires working with cross functional teams of Engineering, Operations, Product and many other functions within Verizon. The Director will lead a team that is changing the face of how Verizon influences the wireless and wireline Device ecosystem and its many constituents to drive differentiated customer experiences.
Business Impact:
Provides critical planning support for the Multi Billion $$ network capital investment through the planning of device specifications, network validation activities, network deployment activities, and device launch. Key projects include continued 5G, eSIM, VoLTE feature and performance support, spectrum planning
